Mitch Hutchison, LMFTA

LMFTA and ADHD Coach

Have you ever felt like life gives you more questions than answers? I know that I have! Personally, I had a time in my life where I felt that way and am thankful I was able to navigate it with the help of an understanding therapist. I also love to come alongside people as they are stuck in a rut and are looking for some hope. It is exciting to go from a life of overwhelming confusion and frustration to a path of thriving.

I am a qualified Marriage and Family Therapist Associate in the state of North Carolina. I love working with children in order to enter into their creative world and come alongside them as they navigate through life one step at a time. I also enjoy journeying with teens and adults because it allows me to see the world through new and different perspectives as we tackle hard issues together. I have always loved being on teams throughout my life and love how therapy gives me the opportunity to join your team!

Clients from various backgrounds and ages are welcome. I am available to meet with both children and adults. I provide individual, family, and couples counseling. For couples, I utilize Gottman and Emotionally Focused Therapy and am a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator. In my counseling approach I apply Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy mostly and have the training to implement elements of the following: DBT, EFT, ACT, family systems, and solution focused. My areas of special interest include ADHD coaching, anxiety and depression issues, life transitions, and grief.
