Mackenzie Martin,
LCMHCA and ADHD Coach
As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and ADHD coach, I would be honored to walk with you on your journey to growth, self-awareness, and positive change that you are seeking.
Whether you are struggling with challenges pertaining to depression, anxiety, self-esteem, or ADHD, I am here to partner with you as you gain a deeper understanding of these challenges, explore healthier and more hopeful ways to cope, and grow closer to the person you want to become.
My desire to walk alongside others in the healing process of counseling developed as I earned my Bachelors in Exercise Science at James Madison University where I learned about the interconnectedness of our mind and body. I began my own counseling journey during that time and decided that I wanted to commit my career and my life to helping others experience their own healing and growth. As I am earning my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at NC State University, I am excited to begin working with people from all cultures and backgrounds.
Using the knowledge I have built from my coursework and training, I will approach counseling and ADHD coaching holistically, non-judgmentally, and practically. I am excited to work with teens and young adults utilizing Narrative, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Person-Centered therapies.
I will highlight the strengths that you already hold as we create new strategies for mindfulness, self-regulation, and balance. I am also happy to integrate faith into the counseling process upon request. I look forward to working with you and hearing your incredibly valuable story.
