Amanda Williamson, LCSW
Therapy should be a place where you feel validated, safe, and supported. I would love to walk along beside you on your journey and provide you with a non-judgmental, listening ear. I seek to support clients as they face unforeseen challenges and navigate life's transitions.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina. I earned my Master's in Social Work from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families and I am able to offer Christian counseling per request. My experience includes anxiety, depression, communication, stress, relationships issues, and parenting. I have a special interest in working with clients age 9 yrs old and up to manage tics and Tourette Syndrome. I am CBIT trained. My goal in therapy is to help you gain new skills, develop effective strategies, and cultivate healthy relationships, so you will become more confident and resilient.
I have been married for almost two decades and have four children ranging from elementary to high school. In our leisure time we enjoy traveling together as a family, seeking out new adventures in our camper.
